Julie Preston, DipPFS

Independent Financial Adviser

Julie provides financial planning to Charities, Businesses and individuals.  Having 32 years experience working in Financial Services, during this time she has worked in a variety of roles including Director of a directly authorised IFA firm, advisory, compliance and business management.

Julie joined Libertas in 2018 after meeting Phil and the team and discovering a like-minded approach upon focused client service. Her work with corporate, business owners and individual clients involves comprehensive tax efficient financial planning, which continues through to protecting wealth in retirement.  She strongly believes in making the complex simple, which is why she enjoys giving educational presentations in the local community, and women’s network groups.

Julie has a wealth of experience in investing for trust structures and working with trustees, specialising in her passion which is advising Charities.  She advises and guides trustees with their regulatory obligations, helps them build a long-term financial plan, and ultimately a sustainable charity.

Like us all at Libertas, Julie strongly believes in giving something back and having talked to countless charities, Julie is a formative member of the free support network called ‘Charity Chats’. This was established for charities to come together, support each other with ideas and collaborate.  She hosts regular sessions through this network, which has been a great help to many and is growing from strength to strength.
